Who We Are
arc one associates is a family-owned architectural firm providing practical, cost-conscious design solutions for commercial, industrial, and residential projects since 2001. Our work includes retail, office, tenant improvements, multifamily, clean rooms, and select custom residential projects throughout North America.
We partner with clients to understand project priorities and translate them into clear, coordinated plans. Our experience with materials, construction methods, and project coordination ensures each solution is tailored to the specific requirements of the project.
Firm principals remain directly involved in every project, providing consistent oversight, clear communication, and accountability from start to finish.
Richard Oehler, RA, NCARB
Richard Oehler, Co-Founder, is an award-winning architect with 55 years of experience throughout North America. Richard enjoys traveling with his wife of over 50 years, discussing obscure architectural facts. and collecting rare bottles from all over the world. Richard is also a veteran, having proudly served our country in the Navy during the Vietnam War.
Josh Oehler, RA, NCARB, LEED AP
Joshua Oehler, President and Co-Founder, has led arc one associates for 25 years.
Josh is passionate about art, design, and good architecture, and is known for delivering thoughtful, practical solutions while maintaining strong client relationships. More than 85% of the firm’s work comes from repeat clients and referrals.
He previously served the Town of Gilbert as both a Planning Commissioner and Zoning & Hearing Officer, providing valuable insight into entitlement and regulatory processes.
Outside of work, Josh enjoys traveling with his wife and three daughters and is an avid fan of professional soccer.
